DAMAGE REGISTRATION TO 1ST JULY

According to preliminary estimates of the Administration of Agriculture and Rural Development, a storm that on Friday 24th June and hit and the city of Nis, spread to about 2,500 to 3,000 hectares of agricultural land. The greatest damage suffered areas of villages Lalinac, Lalinske Pojate, Secanica and Krusce. It is estimated that in these villages in the fields and in greenhouses were destroyed between 70 and 100% of agricultural products. Slightly less damage, which ranges from 20 to 80%, caused in the areas of the villages Mramor, Mramorski Potok, Vrtiste, Popovac, Trupale, Supovac, Mezgraja, Camurlija, Novo Selo and Donji Komren. During Saturday and Sunday, professional service of the Administration of Agriculture and Rural Development of the City of Nis had visited the area for a preliminary determination of damages. Work on the precise determination of damages will continue the commission formed with the Administration for Emergency Situations. The Commission shall, as soon as possible to visit the area where the storm track and caused damage to crop plants, structures and other property.

Farmers need to submit a report on the suffered damage to the Administration of Agriculture and Rural Development of the City of Nis, Leskovacka Street 4a, to 1st July 2011. Claim forms farmers can take over in Citizens` offices of the village affected by the hailstorm, in the Administration of Agriculture and Rural Development, in Leskovacka Street 4a, and Strahinjica Bana Street -Business Center "Ambassador" and n the Palilula Municipality.
